Texting, as you use it
Texts are paid from a balance you top up, so you pay only for the texts you send. Email is always included.
What is the service fee?
A small share of each card payment: 0.5% in Canada and 0.2% in the United States, on Pay as you go. Pro has none. We get paid when you get paid.
What if I collect payments myself?
Studio, for a flat $9 a month: families pay you directly, by cash, cheque, e-transfer or your own card machine, and Caletan takes no share. To take cards through Caletan, online or at the counter, choose Pay as you go or Pro.
Is there tax?
In Canada, Caletan adds GST or HST to its plans and its service fee, by your province, with receipts and a monthly statement of fees for your books.
What about Stripe's fee?
Stripe's own processing fee is separate, and goes to Stripe. Card payments go straight to your bank through your own Stripe account.
Is every feature on every plan?
Yes. Every kind of booking and every feature, on every plan. The plans differ only in how you pay us.
When does Pro save me money?
Above $50,000 a month in card payments, Pro's flat $100 costs less than the service fee. We'll tell you when it would.
Can I leave whenever I like?
Yes. There's no contract: change plans or leave whenever you like, and take your data with you.
